FFP Running Club - Wednesday (4-19-17)

We will be meeting at FFP at 6:00 pm!

 

1) Pre-run drills

 

2) Fartlek:

  1. 5-10 minute warm-up @ Easy Pace
  2. 3 x (3 min, 2 min, 1 min) - each harder effort is followed by easy running for the equal amount of time. Run at 10k pace for the 3 min and 2 min intervals. Run at 5k pace for the 1 min interval. 
  3. 5 minute cool-down @ Easy Pace

 

  • Group A (13:00+): 5 min warm-up, 3 sets
  • Group B (11:00 – 13:00): 5 min warm-up, 3 sets
  • Group C (9:00 – 11:00): 10 min warm-up, 3 sets
  • Group D (sub 9:00): 10 min warm-up, 3 sets

 

3) Post-run stretch – stretch areas of need.
